Ahu Moana Ecological Survey around Boatshed Rock at the southern end of Medlands Beach. A team of snorkelers will take a look at what lies beneath the surface. It is intended that this survey will be repeated 4 times per year along with the Schooner Bay surveys and possibly extend to other bays. There are many ways to take part, you can snorkel, be a support person in a vessel on the surface or join the beach crew who will look after the sausage sizzle and be there for the discussions before and after the dive. Please check in again closer to the date as weather conditions may impact dates of these surveys.
