In November OME worked with the very clever and talented Kaitoke Enviroschool Students to learn about the NZ dotterels. We have several nests producing chicks this year so, with all the good advice from the children on how to help protect the NZ dotterels, we hope the chicks will make it through the busier season on the beach.
